Intro to the Bible Workshop

It is a huge blessing to live in a time and place where we can own a Bible and gather to study it together. 

At times the Bible seems intimidating – partly because we are unfamiliar with the historical context and also because it is a big book!! Actually it is many books within the big book! The Bible is jam packed with history, prophecy, details of Jesus walk on planet earth, church life and so much more.

Even though the study of our Bibles may seem daunting …. It IS designed to be understood. 

In this workshop, we will use a systematic approach to understanding the basic structure. We will see how magnificently it fits together, AND how it was written as a timeless love letter from God to us. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and each other we will do some basic digging and come away feeling more confident as we handle this love letter… our Bibles. 

This is your invitation to a great workshop. Bring a new believer, bring a Bible and a pen. We will provide class notes…..and fasten your seatbelt – this will be a whirlwind tour.

This workshop will run for three Sundays from 9:00-10:00AM in the lobby classroom starting on May 17, 2026.
